Haven News Update 1/10

Time for a new update on Havens standings. Last update ended in patch 3.1 where we planned to go back to a normal 25-men schedule after the summer break of many members. An overview of what we accomplished since then:
1. Ulduar25: we killed the remaining 4 bosses there (excluding Algalon) and as so cleared normal Ulduar25 completly.
2. Ulduar10: we went on with the hard modes of the keepers and have only Firestarter to go to get to Algalon. Our best (last) try was p4 till we hit the enrage timer. A kill is coming up soon to finally give us access to Algalon.
3. TotC25 Normal: Cleared fast and easy, giving us rank 7 on the server on this part of the content.
4. TotC10 Normal: Cleared fast and easy, lower rank though as we focus on 25.
5. TotC25 Heroic: Not really tried it yet as we wanted to have Yogg Saron on 25 on our kill list as well.
6. TotC10 Heroic: Not tried it a lot yet as focus was/is still on Ulduar10 mostly but we got the Northrend Beasts down there already.
7. Onyxia25 & 10: Cleared
8. VoA25 & 10: Cleared

What lies in front of us:
On 25-men: besides farming the normal mode of Onyxia and TotC, we'll get a few more kills on Yogg Saron in as well so more members can get their achievements. After that there is only Trial of the Grand Crusader and that is where we'll be heading next.
On 10-men: besides again farming the normal mode of Onyxia and TotC, we'll keep focusing to see Algalon and have some tries on him. After this, which will not take so long anymore, also TotC10 heroic will be next. We have also started an off time project to get the Glory of the Ulduar Raider (10-men) achievement and the 310% mount included with that. On that part we have done all achievements at least once except for hard mode Mimiron, hard mode General and hard mode Yogg Saron. We do feel confident that we'll finish this all though.

So far the raiding part. Haven is also a social guild for many and on that part we are doing great as welll. We had a real fun guildmeet in Sweden in August and more will come.
Also our memberbase, both social and raiding, has grown a lot. This allowed us even to have the last 2 Wednesdays a 25-men and 10-men run at the same time. In prime time 40+ or even 50+ members online is no rarity anymore.

We are also working at our infrastructure and switched from Teamspeak to Ventrillo recently. Soon we'll be switching to a new webhost and add a new homepage that will be a lot more functional than our old one.

And as a last part our recruitment status: we still look at and consider every application that is put up, but we are also getting pretty full for raidingspots. Currently we are only looking actively for 1 boomkin, 1 resto shaman and 1 arms warrior. We still require that you keep up with 2 raids/week as a minimum, that you are geared for our current content and know your class and what being prepared for a raid means.
We still offer a friendly and social atmosphere where raiding is taken serious. Content (and some achievements) is what we offer with loot only being one of the resources to get there.
